We’ve tried to keep our Terms and Conditions as clear and simple as possible. It’s really important to us that your experience meets your expectations, so please spend a few minutes to read.
Terms & Conditions
Definitions:
- Mac 2 the Future: We, us, or our company.
- Customer: You or your.
- Consumer: An individual purchasing goods for personal use, outside of business or professional activities.
- Goods: Device(s), or related items including packaging, manuals, and any other accessories sold by us.
- Conditions: These Terms and Conditions of sale and any additional terms agreed upon in writing.
You must own all rights, title and interests in any device that you send us
- Formation of Contract
- The contract between you and Mac 2 the Future is formed when we receive and accept your order or quotation request.
- Ownership of the goods transfers to us upon receipt and after payment has been processed. The contract remains binding despite any changes in status between the buyer and seller.
- Order Acceptance
- An order placed on our website is an offer to purchase the goods described at the price indicated. We may accept this offer via email or other electronic communication.
- If we cannot accept your order at the specified price after your device has been received and assessed , we will provide an alternative offer, which you may accept within a specified period.
- Pricing
- All prices are in UK pounds. The total cost of your order will be the price of the order, the delivery charge plus any additional services you choose for example Pre 1pm delivery.
- Prices are subject to change for trade ins and are valid for 14 days from the date of the initial quotation. After this period, a re-quote may be necessary.
- The price includes VAT unless otherwise stated.
Payment
- Payment is processed once the order is submitted and must be completed before the goods are shipped.
- Payment for trade-ins will be issued by the consumers selected method once the offer is approved by the consumer.
Delivery of goods
- All our items are delivered by DPD to the delivery address provided when you place the order. It may be necessary at times for our team to contact you to confirm your delivery address.
- We aim to dispatch goods with a minimum of 80% battery life however on occasions where next day delivery is required, this may be less.
- We aim to deliver goods within the agreed timeframe of the delivery option you select. On occasions delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Upon delivery, you should inspect the goods upon receipt to report any damage within 3 working days to us at hello@mac2thefuture.co.uk.
- If the goods are damaged during delivery, we will either replace them or refund the purchase price and delivery costs.
- Cancellation and Return Policy
- You may cancel your order within 14 working days of delivery. To cancel, notify us in writing via email or mail.
- Returned goods must be in “as sold” condition,in original packaging and accessories included. Any alterations or signs of use may affect your refund eligibility.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
- Product Grading and Condition
- It is your responsibility to ensure the selected grade (A, B, C, D, or E) accurately reflects the condition of the device. If the device does not match the specified grade, the quote may be adjusted.
- Goods should match the specified make and model, including essential components like the battery and power supply.
- Guarantees and Warranties
- All goods come with a 12-month warranty unless otherwise specified. Batteries are excluded from this warranty as they are considered consumable items.
- We guarantee that the goods will meet the specified description and be of satisfactory quality at the time of delivery.
- Events Outside Our Control
- We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including compliance with applicable laws.
Additional Conditions for Consumers
- Right to Cancel
- You may cancel your order within 7 working days of delivery without providing a reason. However, if the goods have been used, a fee may apply.
- Returns must include all original packaging, manuals, and accessories. You must take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned.
- Faulty or Incorrect Goods
- If the goods do not meet the specified terms or are faulty, you may return them for a replacement or refund. Contact us within 30 days of delivery to arrange the return.
- We will cover the return shipping costs for faulty or incorrect items.
- Advice and Support
- We offer advice on product installation, compatibility, and configuration upon request. However, it is your responsibility to ensure compatibility with your existing system.
Business to Business (B2B) Terms
- Applicability
- These conditions apply to all contracts for the sale of goods to businesses, excluding any other terms unless agreed upon in writing.
- Title and Risk
- Risk passes to the buyer upon delivery, but ownership remains with us until full payment is made.
- Liability Limitations
- Our liability is limited to the price of the goods and reasonable expenses incurred due to faulty goods. We are not liable for consequential damages.
Additional Clauses
- Retention of Title
- Goods remain the property of Mac 2 the Future until payment is received in full.
- Insurance
- You are responsible for insuring the goods until the title transfers to you.
- Amendments and Variations
- Any changes to these terms must be agreed upon in writing.
- Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
